Meeting called to order by President Rick Jellison

Order of Business

-          Website – This is free and more convent than other sources of communication

Why We Have an Association

-          Protect Home Values

-          Up Keep of Yard and Home

-          15 New Neighbors Last Year

Last years expenses were $100.00

-          Things that still need to be done

a)      Burn grass by the pond

b)      Tree Removal

c)      Replacement of mail box numbers – several solutions discussed – Kevin Vader to Head Committee.

Most of the Association Covenants are simply Brooklyn Park city code enforcement

We are now part of the Brooklyn Park Association Coalition– Communication with our fellow neighbors is the key to a successful association.

12 dues have not been paid from 2007

Prairie Restoration is scheduled to burn next week – Rick to confirm. 

Areas to be addressed:

-          Rental Properties – How do we deal with them?  This is a growing issue in the neighborhood as well as the city.

Treasurer – Brett Ackerman

Member At Large – Marcus Carter
